I am not a fan of super strong or smokey tasting coffee. The coffee is smooth and the flavor just perfect. The Kona is medium strength, just right for breakfast or any time. Tully's Coffee Kona Coffee for Keurig Brewers, 24-Count K-Cups (Pack of 2)After getting a Keurig coffee machine for Christmas, the hunt for the best K-Cups was on. While we have by no means tried them all, we love the Kona coffee K-Cups by Tully.
If you expect this to be just as good as the Kona you got during that Hawaiian vacation, lower your expectations just a little. It had a great aroma. The k-cups keeps the coffee fresh, so, even though it's pushing it's "sell by" date, it tastes like the beans were freshly ground. I picked this coffee up at a local store where I found it on the clearance rack. This coffee is really good, but it is still a blend. However, after enjoying a cup of Tully's Kona blend I'm confused. I wasn't too sure if it would be any good since being on the clearance rack usually means "old" and "not too good". The coffee flavor was exactly what I would expect from a Kona blend: smooth, mellow delicious coffee without the bitterness of Columbian coffees.
The kcup is the best invention for the coffee drinker. I have been drinking Kona for many years, paying up to $30.00 for 12 oz. The Tullys kona blend is as good as any kona coffee out there.
Tully's Kona coffee gives you a bit more robust flavor than a Columbian coffee, without the bitterness of a darker or more bold coffee. If you have never had Kona coffee, you must simply try this K-Cup. It is smooth and tasty. Tully's Kona is a wonderfully smooth coffee. Kona coffee in general is outstanding.
